Freedom Foods is an Australian company with the mission of making food better. When they say a product is ‘free’ from something – such as gluten-free or nut-free – they carry out testing to make sure that it is.
The Brief
The key design challenge was to transform a defunct production facility into a collaborative office space through practical design solutions, and to also create an engaging environment where staff want to be.
The Outcome
The implementation of our design utilised as much of the existing structure as feasible, although we dropped in a ceiling to address the massive warehouse void. We created open collaboration spaces which the Freedom staff had never had before, and also gave them access to a great breakout space which was a huge upgrade on their previous situation.
