The project is for a leading Victorian government department, based in a heritage-rich building in the Melbourne metropolitan region. They engaged Axiom Workplaces for Strategy, Interior Design and Construction implementation of their new workplace fit out.

The client required a space reflective of their core values, showcasing creativity in a fluid and equitable format while empowering employees through choice and variation in workplace settings.

The timeless natural base palette, exposed brick and warm leather breathe a sense of sophistication into the space, creating a relaxing and inviting environment. The multifunctional spaces enable employees to choose how they work; this is a relaxing space enriched by a minimalistic and uncomplicated design.

Sustainability and wellness heavily influenced the design, emphasised through biophilic elements, reused materials, natural light, and the use of plants.

The new workplace is an environment that respects and pays tribute to land, place, history and vision. Located in a heritage building, the new workplace draws on its rich legacy of innovation, creativity, and leadership
