The Brief

Being a unique co-working space, the client wanted to ensure that flexibility was the primary theme and in doing so sought the perfect, mixed balance of bespoke offices and open, collaborative work spaces. Given the long and narrow floor plate, there was the additional challenge of creating a flow throughout the space whilst maximising the density.

It was also vital to implement connectivity of the front of house area to all common spaces across the workplace.

The Outcome

Axiom delivered an innovative floorplan that answered the challenge of demonstrating connectivity and flow throughout the space. This was done by developing a journey from the initial open spaces such as the arrivals and breakout to more private spaces such as the wellness areas and meeting rooms.

It was imperative we maintained close collaboration with the client, in order to determine a clear understanding of their distinctive needs; and in turn, we carried out several internal collaborative sessions with our team to test out ideas and solutions. Following this process, we provided the client with various visualisations of the design by way of axonometrics and 3D images, so they had full transparency of what would be the final result.
