Nearmap enlisted Axiom to transform their existing offices into cutting-edge meeting rooms equipped with state-of-the-art AV technology, offering the flexibility to host both in-person and virtual meetings. A key focus for Nearmap was to optimise the acoustics within these meeting spaces to ensure that neighbouring individuals were undisturbed by the voices of in-person and digital meetings. This strategic approach not only facilitated confidential discussions but also enhanced overall meeting efficiency. The meticulous process involved the removal of ceilings and walls to allow the installation of premium soundproof insulation, guaranteeing seamless and distraction-free meeting environments.
The final workplace design not only successfully achieved Nearmap's objective of reducing their footprint in the building but also created a dynamic and efficient workspace. The incorporation of flexible work areas and acoustically controlled meeting rooms catered to the diverse needs of the team, fostering collaboration and productivity. By utilizing the valuable insights provided by the wrkx data, the designers were able to tailor the layout and amenities to align perfectly with the movement patterns and preferences of the employees. This data-driven approach eliminated any guesswork, ensuring that the final design maximized both functionality and comfort for Nearmap's hybrid workforce.
