The Brief
NEC’s existing office was a very traditional and dated space. They wanted to embrace a new way of working, including evolving to a paper lite system, and needed to relocate to ensure they were closer to their key clientele. An additional, complementary objective was to attract & retain key staff through a better working environment & location.
The Outcome
Axiom workshopped various solutions with NEC’s key management team, partnered with NEC’s Melbourne head office team, to develop the concept. Axiom’s full-time site manager ensured the project ran on time and given the project was carried out during COVID restrictions, the site manager delivered weekly progress videos to keep Melbourne informed and engaged throughout the entire process.
Axiom’s unique Workplace Thrive Index highlighted key areas that staff wanted to maintain in their new space so overall it was a very successful result.
